Freedom and Love

In Romans 14, Paul teaches that the gospel frees Christians to receive God’s good creation with gratitude rather than fear, while recognizing that matters of personal conscience should not be turned into universal rules for all believers. True Christian freedom is expressed not by insisting on our rights, but by willingly limiting them in love so that we build up others, reflecting the self-giving example of Jesus Christ.
