Conviction Without Contempt
Join us as Kevin Jamison continues our sermon series, Life Together: A Study in Romans 12-16, by exploring God’s vision for his people and what it truly means to be the church.
Paul teaches in Romans 14 that Christians can faithfully disagree on disputable matters while remaining united, because our acceptance before God rests in Christ rather than in having perfect convictions. Instead of responding with judgment or contempt, believers are called to welcome one another, follow their consciences in seeking to honor the Lord, and trust that God alone is the rightful judge who is able to make His people stand.
