January

Month of Prayer

Join us for our annual Month of Prayer starting January 1st. The goal for this Month of Prayer is to engage our people in praying for guidance and direction for the ministries and people of Sojourn East and those we serve.  It is set up so that there are multiple people praying every single day during the month of January.

Click to register and pick a day to dedicate to praying for Sojourn East.  We created a prayer guide to provide you with some direction and prompts on what and how to pray. We look forward to seeing how the Lord leads our church, thank you for joining us!

NEW & NOTEWORTHY EVENTS

Men's and Women's Bible Study

February 10

Join the men and women of Sojourn East as we embark on an 10 week study of the Sermon on the Mount. We will spend time in Matthew 5-7 in 3 ways: personal study, learning from teachers who will help us go deeper, and discussing in small groups where we’ll ask questions and talk about what we’re learning.

God’s Word will comfort, encourage, challenge, instruct and change us if we’ll let it! We hope you will join us as we dive in together.

Men meet Wednesday mornings at 6:30 am. Women meet Monday nights at 7:30 pm or Wednesday mornings at 10 am.

Christian Worldview Class: The Nicene Creed

February 16

Join us for this dynamic four week class as Dr. Pennington teaches through one of the fundamental Christian theological statements, the Nicene Creed. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversation surrounding Christianity’s most sacred beliefs.

The class will begin on February 16th. Each class will be from 9-10:15am in the Chapel. Sojourn Kids will be open at this time, so feel free to drop off your kiddos during the class.

Community Group Open House

February 9

Interested in learning more about community groups at Sojourn East? Our Community Group Open House is a great opportunity to learn more about individual community groups, to meet group leaders, or to talk with our Director of Community Life about starting a new group.

Immediately after both services, our Community Group leaders will be available in the Chapel to meet you and to answer any questions you may have about their groups. Justin Hyde, our Director of Community Life, will also be there to answer questions about our current groups, starting new groups, or our Community Life ministry in general. We hope to see you there!
