What's Happening

Keep up with the latest news and events at Sojourn East

Are you or someone you know wrestling with big questions, such as meaning, purpose, and God? If so, we have the perfect space for you. Alpha is a seven-week group designed for anyone who'd like to talk and walk through their questions about God, life, and faith in an open and meaningful environment.

Each meeting opens with a light meal followed by a video and small group discussion around different topics. If you're looking for a no-pressure setting to talk through your struggles about God and Christianity, we hope you'll join us.

This spring, we'll be meeting on Thursdays at 6pm in the Chapel, starting April 16.

If you have any additional questions, email Moe Clark.

NEW & NOTEWORTHY EVENTS

It’s not too late to jump in for our second & third sessions of the What it Means to be Human Foundations class. This class, taught by Pastor Jonathan, is designed to equip our church with a rigorous and nuanced Christian understanding of what it means to be human, for the purpose of growing in “wholiness” (whole person holiness). The class will meet from 9-10:15am on April 12 & 26.

This year, Sojourn East Women are focusing on gathering as a church family through 12 in 12—twelve events in twelve months! Each month we’ll host a gathering that creates space for women to connect, build friendships, and enjoy the community God has given us.

On April 19 from 6:30-8:30pm, join us in the Multipurpose Room (back of the auditorium) for a casual book swap and time to connect. Bring 1-5 women’s books (fiction or nonfiction—please no kids’ books) and plan to head home with the same number. Feel free to come even if you just want to hang out!

Sojourn Kids desires to connect kids and families to each other, and we’re excited to invite you to our Family Skate Night! On Monday, May 4th from 5:30-7:30pm, join us at Champs for a fun-filled night of skating and connection. This is a great opportunity to meet other families, strengthen friendships, and let your kids enjoy time with their friends from church. We look forward to seeing you there!

Skating is $8 per person (free for those who are not skating). Please register only those who plan to skate. This is not a drop-off event—parents are required to stay with their children.
