Our Mission
The Men's Ministry at Sojourn East seeks to fulfill our church's mission to discover fullness of life in Jesus by providing opportunities for men to connect with God and to connect with each other.
How To Get Connected
Bible Study
Our main Men's Bible Study runs for 10-12 weeks twice a year, in Fall and Spring semesters. Our MBS is on Wednesday mornings from 6:30-7:45am sharp and is run in parallel with the Women's Bible Studies. We also have a group of men who meet on Saturday mornings for Bible teaching, called Saturday Morning Men in the Word. Men's Quarterly Connection Nights
Every quarter we have a low-key, friendship-oriented Friday night get together. There are always good snacks and good fellowship! This is a great opportunity to get to know other men in the church and to invite men into the life of our church. Check the What's Happening page for more upcoming dates.
Men's Fall Retreat
Every year we host a "24 Hours Door-to-Door" retreat at a nearby Christian camp. This is an opportunity for guys to step outside their normal schedule and concentrate on good teaching, good food, and good relationships. We all need times of retreat from our hectic lives. Our Fall Retreat is always a meaningful and memorable time. You won't want to miss it!

Our mission is to connect men with God and to connect men with each other. Both of these connections occur through meaningful relationships, through genuine friendships. The Men's Ministry values honest, encouraging, vulnerable, and supportive relationships between men. So everything we do - Bible Studies, Connection Nights, Mentoring Groups, our Fall Retreat - is aimed at men developing Christian friendships as we continue on our journey of faith.
