The Paradoxical Gospel
It seems like our churches are in an unprecedented time, with conflicts, confusion and corruption dominating the headlines. While our time in history comes with its own set of unique challenges, the church in Corinth found itself in a similar place. Paul wrote 2 Corinthians during a vulnerable time in the life of the church, reminding them that life with Jesus is often found in unexpected places. In “The Paradoxical Gospel,” we’ll look at his encouragement to the church – both then and now – to find joy through pain, strength through weakness and beauty through brokenness.
