Alexander Community Group
Boehm Community Group
We meet bi-weekly as girls and guys on Sunday evenings. At this time we don’t currently have childcare. Currently we are following along with the sermon series, encouraging each other during meeting times and ending each meeting with a time of prayer.
Boone Community Group
We are a mixed group of mostly young professionals, some single, some engaged, some married and some married with kids! Our group meets each Sunday evening from 6:30-8PM, and we currently bounce back between two homes in our group–one in Norton Commons off Brownsboro, the other near St. Albert off Westport. We begin by catching up on each other’s weeks, spend the majority of our time discussing a book of the Bible chapter by chapter, and close out by praying for one another. Some weeks we like to have a community group outing in lieu of our typical Sunday meeting. We are always open to newcomers, so feel free to reach out!
Clark/Hall Community Group
Hi there, welcome to the Clark’s CG! We meet weekly to dive into God’s word with the goal of being transformed by the gospel. We typically follow the sermon series, though at times, we may walk through a different book of the Bible or dive into personal discussion. It is a safe space to open up and grow in deep fellowship with one another. If you have any additional questions, please reach out! We look forward to hearing from you.
Foreman/Cupp Community Group
We meet at 6:45pm and fellowship. We begin at 7:15 in prayer followed by sermon discussion engaging in reflection questions as well as searching for wisdom. We will often split into men and women discussion time and finish in prayer at 8pm. Occasionally we will have events such as soccer matches or dinners.
Gault Community Group
Hello! Our typical schedule begins with some social time to catch up followed by a discussion of the past week’s sermon. We end with prayer requests and prayer. We’re also starting to alternate between meetings with all participants one week [via Zoom], then men only the following week, then all participants, then women only.
Hammil Community Group
We’re a group of 30s and 40s with a good number of kids under 10. Before COVID, we met on Thursday nights. Since COVID, we’ve become more flexible. For the last several months, the women in our group have met on one night during the week, and the men have met on one night the following week. The women and men often meet on Thursdays, but since there are fewer people, we move the meetings around to try to allow everyone to attend. We welcome all to our group and would love for anyone to come join us. Please text or email and we can let you know what we’re up to.

Johnson Community Group
We meet in our home on a weekly basis where we spend significant time studying God’s Word, praying together, and engaging in conversations about life. We are an active group that serves our church and our community regularly. We also get together for fun, outside of our weekly group time! Anyone is welcome to join us in person or virtually. Five minutes around us and you will see that we are more than a group — we are a family.
O’Neal Community Group
Come join us weekly on Sunday afternoons at East from 4:00 – 6:15 for fellowship, sermon discussion, and prayer time as we split into guys/girls time to intentionally pray for one another. Once a month we take a Sunday night off from normal sermon discussion and have dinner together, go bowling, enjoy the fire pit, or some other fun activity. Our group is always open to new people! Feel free to visit! Don’t hesitate to contact us with additional questions. We look forward to meeting you!
Phillippe Community Group
We meet at our home near Warwick Park to share our life updates, read the sermon text together, discuss the sermon, and pray together. Once a month, we split into a small men’s group, and a small women’s group to deepen our community. Occasionally, we take a night off to go out for a meal, play games, or watch a movie together. Please note that our group does not currently have any young children participating. We would love for you to join us!
Phillips Community Group
Our group meets twice a month on the second and fourth Thursdays. Food & refreshments provided as we fellowship the first 45 minutes (or so) and discuss the previous Sunday sermon (7-8) in order to seek God’s wisdom for our lives as well as have prayer time. We try to be prompt with the time line to be respectful of everyone’s schedule, come join us.
Smith/Clark Community Group
Our group meets each Wednesday evening for fellowship and sermon discussion. During summer months we meet once a month for a dinner or fun activity. Please come visit us!
Wilder/Owen Community Group
We are a new group that meets weekly at 6:00 on Sunday night to discuss the sermon and pray for one another. While largely a group of GenX couples, we welcome people of all ages, single or married. We laugh (perhaps too much). We eat (definitely too much). We share openly and honestly about what’s going on in our lives. Sometimes we have a party and play games. We are a fun-loving group that simply wants to share the love of Christ with each other and the community around us. While our mission efforts are just beginning to take shape, there’s a heart for service beating within the group. We meet in the East End of Louisville and rotate locations every month so that any group members who want to open their homes may do so. Unfortunately, we don’t have childcare at this time. Come visit and see what you think!
