Testing the group description
We are a mixed group of mostly young professionals, some single, some engaged, some married and some married with kids! Our group meets each Sunday evening from 6:30-8PM, and we currently bounce back between two homes in our group–one in Norton Commons off Brownsboro, the other near St. Albert off Westport. We begin by catching up on each other’s weeks, spend the majority of our time discussing a book of the Bible chapter by chapter, and close out by praying for one another. Some weeks we like to have a community group outing in lieu of our typical Sunday meeting. We are always open to newcomers, so feel free to reach out!
Hi there, welcome to the Clark’s CG! We meet weekly to dive into God’s word with the goal of being transformed by the gospel. We typically follow the sermon series, though at times, we may walk through a different book of the Bible or dive into personal discussion. It is a safe space to open up and grow in deep fellowship with one another. If you have any additional questions, please reach out! We look forward to hearing from you.
Hello! Our typical schedule begins with some social time to catch up followed by a discussion of the past week’s sermon. We end with prayer requests and prayer. We’re also starting to alternate between meetings with all participants one week [via Zoom], then men only the following week, then all participants, then women only.
We meet in our home on a weekly basis where we spend significant time studying God’s Word, praying together, and engaging in conversations about life. We are an active group that serves our church and our community regularly. We also get together for fun, outside of our weekly group time! Anyone is welcome to join us in person or virtually. Five minutes around us and you will see that we are more than a group — we are a family.
Our group meets once in two weeks on Saturday from 7-8.30pm at our house in Seneca Gardens. The normal rhythm for our group is brief catch-up fellowship, discuss the sermon text and then transition to prayer requests and pray for one another. We usually ends with fellowship over a snack for those who can stay behind. We organize outdoor social activities as the season gets warmer.
Come join us weekly on Sunday afternoons at East from 4:00 – 6:15 for fellowship, sermon discussion, and prayer time as we split into guys/girls time to intentionally pray for one another. Once a month we take a Sunday night off from normal sermon discussion and have dinner together, go bowling, enjoy the fire pit, or some other fun activity. Our group is always open to new people! Feel free to visit! Don’t hesitate to contact us with additional questions. We look forward to meeting you!
Our group meets twice a month on the second and fourth Thursdays. Food & refreshments provided as we fellowship the first 45 minutes (or so) and discuss the previous Sunday sermon (7-8) in order to seek God’s wisdom for our lives as well as have prayer time. We try to be prompt with the time line to be respectful of everyone’s schedule, come join us.
We meet at our home near Warwick Park to share our life updates, read the sermon text together, discuss the sermon, and pray together. Once a month, we split into a small men’s group, and a small women’s group to deepen our community. Occasionally, we take a night off to go out for a meal, play games, or watch a movie together. Please note that our group does not currently have any young children participating. We would love for you to join us!
Currently, we are 3 married couples. Scott & Angell Slucher have girls 15, 18 & 22. Scott & Emily Thomas have 4 children under the age of 8 (2 boys and 2 girls). Camdyn & Matthew Atwell are newlyweds. We meet on Thursdays, from 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm at the Thomas’ house. We’ve been meeting approximately 2.5 years.
