Are you looking to be engaged in the mission of the gospel?
Join us in building relationships across the city as we seek to share the joy and truth of being a follower of Jesus while serving those in need. The Mercy Ministry supports the overall mission of Sojourn East by providing opportunities to build trust by releasing our people into our city to build relationships and serve.
Each quarter, we connect with Windy Hills residents who need help with yardwork and small home repairs. Anyone is welcome to join!
Every year, we host families who want to give generously to their children, but may need help doing so. We’re thankful for the donations of toys, basic needs, and volunteer hours that help make this event a success!
Trunk or Treat
In the fall, we transform our lawn into the largest fall festival in the St. Matthews area and invite people from our city to join in on the fun. Mark your calendars for October 30, 2022! Click here to learn more.
June, July, August
This summer we will be providing familiar and healthy foods for Hispanic families, many of whom will not have access to these foods with school being out.
Partner with us as we continue to deepen our relationship with these families. We will need volunteers to set up, tear down and greet, as well as Spanish-speaking interpreters. Help us live out Matthew 25:35: "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me...."
